The Tale of Bandit Bear 

Would you believe us if we told you our beloved Bandit Bear started out as a doodle on a sticky note?

Yep. Just a scribbly little bear in a cowboy hat, stuck to a wall with a handwritten warning telling staff to keep out of a top-secret project. At the time, he was more mischief-maker than mascot—a fuzzy little outlaw guarding creative chaos.

But there was something about him. Maybe it was the squint in his eye. Or the sheriff star pinned to his chest. Whatever it was, Bandit had main character energy.

Before we knew it, he made his way onto an anti-shoplifting poster (as you do), keeping a close watch on our shelves like a candle-slingin’ cowboy. The team couldn’t stop thinking about him. So Lauren and James leaned in—with weeks of imagination, inside jokes, and maybe too much coffee, Bandit’s backstory was born.

He was a renegade with a soft spot. A scent-savvy outlaw with a knack for justice (and a weakness for warm vanilla). A bear with a big hat and an even bigger heart.

Then came the moment of magic: Lauren painted Bandit in watercolour, and just like that, he became a real-deal Bear Burners candle label. From there, things got wild. Bandit gained a gang, made a few enemies, and officially became part of our brand’s folklore.

Now he’s the face of Bear Burners. The sheriff of scent. The protector of pretty candles and good vibes. And honestly? We wouldn't want it any other way.
